I am a couples therapist, and my work is based on an integrative, humanistic and body-centred approach. Whether you are going through repeated conflicts, communication difficulties, a loss of trust or a period of questioning, I offer a space to better understand what is happening in your relationship and to explore new ways of being together.

Rediscover dialogue and a harmonious relationship

Couples therapy helps you find dialogue again, better understand what is going on in your relationship, and build a calmer way of being together. Has communication become harder? Has a distance crept in, and do you feel you no longer understand each other?

I support you in putting words to what you are experiencing, identifying the relational patterns that keep repeating, and better understanding each person’s needs, emotions and expectations. In a kind, non-judgemental setting, each of you can say what you feel, what you need and what you expect, while learning to hear the other more clearly.

When should you consider
couples therapy?

There is no need to wait until things become very tense. Couples therapy can help if you are experiencing:

  • Frequent arguments or recurring conflicts
  • Difficulty communicating or understanding each other
  • Emotional or affective distance
  • A feeling that your partner no longer hears or recognises you
  • Difficulties around trust or jealousy, or a breach of trust (an affair, for example)
  • Difficulties in your intimate life
  • Major changes in your relationship
  • Disagreements about your life plans, family or raising children
  • A period of doubt about the future of your relationship

Couples therapy can also support a couple who wish to protect their relationship before difficulties take hold.

Couples Therapy: a Gestalt & Systemic Approach

The aim is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to understand what is happening in your relationship and to help each of you regain the ability to listen, to express yourself and to choose.

Here and now, between you: I pay particular attention to what happens between you during the session: what each of you feels, how you express your needs, the reactions that arise, the unspoken and the misunderstandings.

What we can work on: communication, expressing emotions, mutual expectations, the need for closeness or for autonomy, relational patterns that repeat, expectations and projections, boundaries and how to move through disagreements, trust and emotional security, the ability to hear the other’s point of view without necessarily agreeing.

Experimenting differently: the work is not only about talking about the past; it lets us observe how you relate to each other today. When it’s relevant, I may suggest exercises or role-plays, so you can discover other ways of communicating and meeting each other.

The aim is to get things moving again where you feel stuck.

Intercultural and Bicultural Couples

An intercultural or bicultural couple may be navigating different languages, family reference points or codes.
I lived abroad for 16 years myself, and I am at ease with expats and bilingual people.

Sessions can take place in French, English, Spanish or Italian, in Paris or by video call. If you don’t both express yourselves easily in the same language, let’s talk about it during the discovery call.

What Happens in a Couples Therapy Session?

The session is a space where each of you can find your place and be heard.

  1. Each of you says what you are going through and what has brought you here.
  2. Together, we look at the situations that cause difficulty: the emotions, the reactions, each person’s needs and how communication unfolds between you.
  3. I help you put words to what is happening, move away from repetitive exchanges and foster mutual understanding.
  4. The session ends with time to take stock of what you have discovered and, where relevant, of what you could try out in daily life.

My Background

I lived abroad for 16 years, which gave me an open mind and a curiosity about others. It also allows me to support international clients, expats, and Spanish-, English- and Italian-speaking people. After a career in marketing and then human resources in international companies, I chose a path in tune with my values and my personality. I trained first in coaching and in skills assessment (bilan de compétences), then in Gestalt therapy, couples therapy, sophrology and Ericksonian hypnosis.

I am a Couples Therapist, and in sessions I can draw on other methods such as Sophrology and Ericksonian Hypnosis. I am also trained in Family Constellations, Group Therapy and the systemic approach, which is useful in family therapy and couples therapy.

Today I support couples who are ready to grow and to set out on new paths of transformation.

Member of the French Federation of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (FF2P).
